ACS® Gas Log Carbon & Soot Remover is a non-toxic, environmentally safe spray-on cleaner that safely removes carbon and soot build-up from fireplace gas logs. It can be used both for cleaning gas fireplace logs and cleaning vented gas fireplace logs.
Use ACS® Gas Log Carbon & Soot Remover to keep gas logs looking like new. Gas logs tend to accumulate carbon and soot. These spoil the appearance and are difficult to remove manually without damage to the surface. Deposits are due to one or more of the following causes: oxygen starvation (to achieve the “yellow flame” effect), the higher sulfur content of LP gas, misalignment of logs, inadequate air supply or inadequate venting.
A weekly application of ACS® Gas Log Carbon & Soot Remover will keep fireplace gas logs and fireboxes clean. It is sold in 16 oz recyclable spray bottles.
*Note: Do not use on white logs, including ‘birch’ logs, as they may become discolored by using this product.
